THE BAND

Celtic Crossroads Band MembersJay’s band, Celtic Crossroads, is a Celtic band that also provides heritage music for several of the venues in the Fort Worth, Texas area. These include Log Cabin Village, Frontier Forts Muster, and the Fort Worth Stock Show. The band also regularly performs for the Scottish Clans of North Texas. In September 2007, the band begins a one Sunday a month performance providing Celtic music at the Stockyards in partnership with Cowtown Opry.

CELTIC SUNDAY

Celtic SundayCeltic Sunday in the Stockyards is a regular once-a-month performance by Celtic Crossroads on the veranda of the Exchange Building from 2-3 p.m. This is a free concert, but the basket will be provided for anyone who wishes to donate for the training of young’uns (Buckaroos) to learn to perform their Heritage Texas music; an ongoing mission of Cowtown Opry.

WEST FORT WORTH CELTIC SESSION

Kevin at Four Star Coffee BarWest Fort Worth jam Session, sponsored by Jay Heflin and Celtic Crossroads meets every 2nd Saturday of the month at Four Star Coffee Bar on W. 7th St. from 1-4 p.m.

Log Cabin VillageEach year, Celtic Crossroads provides authentic period music at the Log Cabin Village Harvest Festival. 2007 will be Jay’s ninth year and the fifth year with her own band.
